Are you represented by a production company?
Producers using FreelanceDirectors.com are generally looking for Directors who are able to work free of production company ties, or are available through a production company on a "loan out" basis. So, we are pleased to accept Directors who consider themselves freelance even if they are tied to a production company. Only you will know what your tie entails and whether you are indeed available, and entitled, to freelance within those commitments.
How we get paid
We don't earn any commission on the work you get through the website. You only pay the membership fee.
The joining process
1. Click below to join now and you will be taken to our secure WorldPay page where you can set up your monthly or annual payment. If for any reason you need to leave FreelanceDirectors.com within the first 14 days you may do so and receive a full refund.
2. Upload your details and individual clips from your Vimeo account. You should allow 30 minutes for this.
Please note that if you take out a monthly membership you are committing to a minimum of 3 month, although we recommend giving it at least 6 months on the site to ensure you gain wide exposure amongst our users.

So, before you proceed, please ensure your submission will include a minimum of 3 clips of commissioned work,produced within the last 5 years, for recognisable brands.
